Huehca Omeyocan Ceremonia Bastones de mando al Oceano

The ceremony is organize by Huehca Omeyocan lead by Eduardo Cruz in Cape lookout in Tilamock. In collaboration with the park every first weekend of august. The ceremony is to give thanks to the ocean. During this weekend many dance groups gather in the park for a weekend. The first ceremony is to create The bastones de mando. flowers canes that will be offer to the ocean next day. This was a special ceremony as Eduardo presented his son who was gift his first feather by an Native American Elder who has participated in this ceremony for years.
